And so it begins....

I officially started my Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt yesterday!  I'm working with Jamie, so I did a block for her and a block for me.  Can you believe these are from the same pattern?

Jamie's fabrics are on the left, and mine are on the right.  I've decided that I'll do mine first each time, so if there are any 'issues', I can work them out on my fabric.  I'm also joining the FWQAL at Brynwood Needleworks.  I'm sure I can get some pointers as the blocks become more difficult, and it will be great to have the extra motivation to keep going.

This will also count as my NewFO for January.

I'm off to a good start for 2012.

  8. Love them, Sunny. I want to start mine this year too and I have downloaded the Marti Michell conversion measurements for making mine. I guess they are supposed to simplify things? We'll see.
