Jamie's fabrics are on the left, and mine are on the right. I've decided that I'll do mine first each time, so if there are any 'issues', I can work them out on my fabric. I'm also joining the FWQAL at Brynwood Needleworks. I'm sure I can get some pointers as the blocks become more difficult, and it will be great to have the extra motivation to keep going.
This will also count as my NewFO for January.
I'm off to a good start for 2012.

YeeHaa! A great start!! Thanks for pointing me in the FWQAL direction - I've joined up too. Happy sewing!!
I bought the book and am looking forward to starting mine...but, haven't gotten to it yet. Is fun to look through however!
Perfect way to start your NewFO's
oooooh... so exciting! It's amazing how different fabrics can give the same block totally diff. looks.
Great job. Will be fun to follow along with your progress! :o) Happy weekend to you Sunny!
Well Done! I keep looking at the book but so far resisted! Linda x
A very fun project to start the New Year! I love those stars, it will be fun to watch your quilt grow!
Love both the blocks!
Love them, Sunny. I want to start mine this year too and I have downloaded the Marti Michell conversion measurements for making mine. I guess they are supposed to simplify things? We'll see.
Great blocks, girl!
I am sure this will be just lovely - I'll be watching your progress !!
