As usual, I had a hard time capturing the colors, but believe me when I say it is beautiful, and exactly what I was hoping for! Thanks so much Vickie.
I also received this 1/4 yard piece of fabric in the mail. You have no idea how excited I was with this.
As you may recall, I decided to add an additional border to my Christmas quilt, and was unable to locate any of the fabric locally. So off to the sewing room I went, anxious to finish the border.
Happy Friday the 13th to me:
Guess what I did the rest of the afternoon!
Contentedly frogging.......Sunny

Sunny! Me and my seam ripper have become very good friends lately, too. I cannot find it sometimes and I panic.... I need to invest in several more! Happy you found your fabric and I love, love, love your new swap block!
That is a great swap block! Lucky you!! I love the buttons on it, so cute. Also happy for you that you found the fabric you needed to finish your quilt top. :o) Contentment is such a powerful word. Thanks for choosing it, and mentioning it in each post. It's good to be reminded to be content. xo
Why you don't need to 'frog' that--you have just created a new block design!!!!
I manage to do alot of 'frogging' too--on the quilting and the cross stitching end of things==!!!!
love the flower block too-
Hugs, Di and kitty

What a beautiful basket Vickie made for you.
Seams we have all been doing a lot of FROGGING. LOL
But I have finally done my border. YEH!!!
It always makes me giggle when I see pieces sewn in the wrong place. I use to think "how on earth can they make that mistake".... now I know!!! I am sure that is how some new blocks have been created. Wow I love your basket block, very creative. Hugs
When I first saw the pic I thought, hey wow, I haven't seen that design before, interesting :-) Hope you are doubly contented by now, after frogging and then fixing! Love the gorgeous basket block - lucky you.
