Rainy Saturday

It rained today.  And yesterday.  And the day before that.  The grass is green and lush.  DH went out and bought flowers yesterday, and dodged raindrops today to get a few of them planted.

I did what any self-respecting quilter would do on a rainy day – I sewed!  I spent several hours working on the applique on the baby quilt that I’m making for a co-worker.  I hope to have pictures tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I got a new camera this week so I’ll share a few pictures.  We didn’t take a road trip this weekend, so these were taken locally.  The Iris opened up on Thursday

Chloe celebrated her 13th birthday a couple of weeks ago.  She’s just a tiny little thing.

Scooter is my 16 year old.  She’s not so tiny.
