I don’t have a lot to report for September. I spent much of the month preparing for, enjoying, and recuperating from vacation. As part of the preparations, I made a journal for my travels.
Because of a big storm at sea, we didn’t make it to Ketchikan or Victoria, but I’m not remaking the journal cover – LOL! It was well-used while we were away.
I also made and mailed 4 postcards in September.
I’m currently working on another batch of postcards, and plugging away at my Warm Winter Blessings BOM.
I received my Sept hexies yesterday from the Inchy Swap. These are from Karyli, and are perfect for my pink project. I haven’t started anything yet, but I think I know what I’m going to do with the hexies in the near future. Stay tuned!
We’re starting to see the first signs of Fall around here. Temperatures have been cooler, and it gets dark earlier each day.
It’s not too cool for kayaking yet, though, so we spent a couple of hours on the river yesterday. The water was so perfectly still, that we got some great reflections.
We were joined on out paddles by a heron, several geese, and a few ducks.
And that sums up my September! Now I’m off to do more sewing and get a head start on my October finishes.
Kindness matters……Sunny

Ohhhh--those photos are just beautiful --and that one with the bridge is a prize winner--that needs to be enlarged and hung on a wall!!!

It's a shame that you didn't get to go to the two stops. I suppose that happens on Alaskan cruises. I really like all your pink hexies. And for your Sept finishes, good job! You'll be in the mood and get lots done in Oct.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see your travel journal was put to good use when you were away - even if you missed a couple of places. Makes a good story.
ReplyDeleteLovely postcards and hexies.
