Blogger's Quilt Festival

This is my favorite quilt so far. I call it my learning quilt. It's the first quilt that I decided to make, although not the first quilt I finished. I quickly decided that a crazy quilt is not the ideal beginner quilt. Working on it quickly made me realize that I needed a beginner's class, so I found one and the rest is history!

I learned a lot about my sewing machine, Fiona, while I was working on this, and I'm very happy that it finally did get finished.

Go
HERE to see lots and lots and lots of beautiful quilts!  Get comfy, because you're going to be there awhile!

  1. thanks for stopping by and lovely comment.
I look forward to seeing your Hexis. Mine now has 27 complete flowers and there are more to be added. It is not a quick project but it is a nice one and you can take your sewing kit anywhere and make a new flower. Good fun.

I like your crazy quilt. The borders are so effective and I love the colours. Very nice.

  4. The colors come together so beautifully and that outside border really pulls it all together. Great work.

  5. I like your quilt! Also I think the pumpkins on the wall photo in your header would make a wonderful quilt design!
