oops - wrong flower! When I was outside earlier, I was just so happy to see all our happy cheerful flowers still blooming. We've been cool and rainy lately, but today is a bright sunny warm day. This is what the front of our house looks like:

I did make a few hexie flowers this week, and I also made a small candle mat.
And I've also been working on my Stay at Home Robin project. I get to work ahead since I know what's coming next - hehe. First I added a floater:
Then I set it on point, which was the assignment for October. Our model today is Zoe. Every time I shooed her away, she was back before I could stand up and refocus the camera.
I'm off to a club meeting now, at the local quilt shop! See ya later.
Your garden is lasting incredibly well considering the weather and the time of year. It looks great. Obviously the praying mantis approves. I like the way you have put the hexies into a candle mat. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThe colours in your SAHR project are lovely. Do you know how big this will end up? Good luck.
The front of your home looks so welcoming. Tell your hubby he did a nice job. What a cool bug you found! Praying mantises are so interesting. And Zoe is obviously giving her approval to your SAHR in progress.
