Because of a software conversion at work, I had to work on Saturday. It was a very long, frustrating day, and I’m so happy it’s over. I don’t like being cheated out of a Saturday
One day last week, I was approached by a co worker, asking if I would consider making a quilt for an upcoming baby shower. How do you like it so far?
A couple of people have asked me who I’m coming along with my Grandmother’s Flower Garden. I’ve started working on it again the last couple of weeks. I might finish in this lifetime.
I also continue to work on the afghan I started several months ago. And the To-Be-Quilted pile continues to grow. Other projects keep getting in the way, But soon….
Kindness matters……Sunny
Too bad you had to work. It was a gorgeous day! I did enjoy the rain today. We've planted out all the gardens and all the planted appreciated it.

ReplyDeleteIt's so funny because I picked up my Grandmother's Flower Garden to work on again this week. Great minds think alike!

Your Grandmother's Garden is growing beautifully Sunny...
Hi Sunny, wow what a stunning header pic...
ReplyDeleteLove the fabrics for the bub quilt... and your Flower Garden wow, it's looking great. I am absolutely of the thinking that a hexy quilt is a once-in-a-lifetime make, especially if it's being completely hand sewn. Love the layout of it, I was thinking of something similar for my brown-eyed ones x
I hope you can somehow get your Saturday back!! Your grandmother's flower garden is beautiful. Can't wait to see the baby quilt.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy your flower photos. I love how your quilt of hexie flowers is coming along. That baby quilt is off to a good start too. Sorry you lost your Saturday. That would have been a good sewing day :(
ReplyDeleteWow that GFG is coming along nicely! It really is impressive. (I hate being cheated out of a Saturday too!)

ReplyDeleteOh Sunny, your flower garden quilt is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have lots of projects on the go than have nothing to do and be bored! That's my excise!
ReplyDeleteLove reading and seeing your blog, Peggy, so full of Spring, beauty-ful flowers :-)
ReplyDeleteYour garden is beautiful... both the cotton one and your flowerbed!
