The Great Stocking Giveaway of 2010

I'm late!  Sorry, but I had my quilt club tonight, and it lasted later than normal because we had goodies to eat, and a lot more Show and Tell items than usual.  Something to do with Christmas?

One of my Show and Tell items was this stocking.  In a week, this will be on it's way to one of you, my lovely readers.  It comes with a coordinating mug rug, and a few other little surprises.  All you have to do is leave a comment on this post.  Please tell me what one word would sum up your life in 2010.  I'm working on a journaling project for December, and this is our first assignment.  I've chosen my word, what's yours?  Please feel free to blog about this giveaway!  The more the merrier, and international entries are most welcome.

I'm a day late with my Secret Santa Swap.  I put the finishing stitches in the binding while I was at my meeting.  It will be in the mail tomorrow.  Sorry partner.

Off to cruise blogland!  Live life with an attitude of gratitude!!      Sunny

My one word is "Joy". We had some pretty hard times this year but instead of just focusing on the bad, I count it ALL Joy, as this is a way for us to look to God for answers and for blessings later on. (Great question - it's nice to think about those things.) Sunny, great job on the tablerunner! And the stocking it really pretty! Very Victorian.

My word for the year would be Love! It's been exactly a year since I met my husband. We fell in love, got married and are working on the happily ever after part. I feel like I found the person I was truly meant for. We are certainly a perfect match.

Anyway, I could go on and on...I love that table runner you made. It's so christmasy without being in-your-face Christmasy, you know what I mean? I love how the flying geese look like little christmas trees.

thanks for the giveaway chance! That stocking is beautiful.

I'm new around here...someplace I found out about the Stocking Giveaways.I'm so glad I did! Thanks so much for the chance. My word (unfortunately) would be Stressful. So many rough things going on, major surgery and recuperation time this summer, an anniversary trip to refresh me, and I'm trying to be joyful through everything that's happened this year. I'm looking forward to family time this Christmas.

Sunny, that quilt is just gorgeous. My year's word is 'DOMINOES'. We have realised that God has been setting up the dominoes of our life for two years, and just at the perfect time, He gave them a push, and there has been an incredible chain reaction of blessing.

"Productive"! I've made almost 30 quilts this year...yes, lots of small charity quilts and wall hangings, and no big bed-sized. But I can really churn out the throw quilts. After all this quilting, I would LOVE to be the recipient of your sweet homemade stocking, rug, etc. Thanks for the chance!

I love the fabric you have used in your stocking & mug rug.
My word for this year would be "managed".
I managed to get my garden built this year and get a lot of canning done. I managed to get a few quilts finished. I managed to get my thyroid problem under control. I'm sure there are even more.
Lucky swap partner, the runner is really pretty.
