Share some joy?

So, I've been a little down lately, and I'm thinking of making myself a small quilt with short, cute or inspirational sayings.  I saw this one yesterday.     Choose Joy.   or how about     My soul is fed with needle and thread.

Do you have anything to share?   Tell me what your favorite flower is, too!

  2. Hi Sunny,
I'm sorry you aren't feeling well right now. I don't have any amazing quotes, but I saw a bumper sticker on a car one day that has stuck with me. It said, "No Bad Days." I can get down too and when I do, I try to think of this saying; its simplicity and practicality strike a cord with me. Maybe it will with you too. In the meantime, have a treat and, if you need to, sit on the sofa and watch reruns or reread your favorite quilting magazine or book. Be kind to yourself right now.

  3. Since you asked...I've been in a dark mood (off & on) since Christmas. I feel like I'm getting better so I'm not too worried. I hope you get to feeling better.

I like your small quilt idea. I'm going to put it on my list.

OH, I meant to tell you I loved the picture of the tulip you took several posts ago. I love tulips.

  4. Sorry you are feeling low, but glad you are honest about it as not every day can be wonderful...I struggle some days too. As you know I love sunflowers. I have a few cute qulting expressions from a set of stamps I have. How about "When life throws you scraps, make a quilt", or "May your bobbins always be full".

  5. It's so nice when people are honest about how they are doing, especially in blogland since so many of our blog posts are just so one-sided (just the good stuff). I sometimes just remember bible verses like,"In everything give thanks for this is the will of Christ Jesus concerning you." Sorry if I misquoted that, I didn't look it up first. I really like the Choose Joy. Short and to the point.

Just so long as you don't Choose Almond Joys. You'll get fat fast! hehehe!!
