Before that, there was a nice long, refreshing trip to Florida.
We had quiet time on the beach, and time with family and friends. Hi Di! You can read about our visit with Di on her blog. It appears that she has thawed out since our visit. We saw amazing sunsets:
My Aunt took us to Black Point Wildlife Drive where we got some great photos of birds.
As we were leaving, we caught a glimpse of our only alligator for the trip.
Later in the day, we saw a gentleman leaving the beach with his fishing catch, and he was more than happy to pose for a photo.
We enjoyed our warm days in the sun. Beach time. pool time, and even a short little ferry ride to Pigeon Key to fit in a little history lesson. There was a day in Key West, and some shopping in Jacksonville. And maybe just one quick trip to a Quilt shop. Lots of good food, and the time with family and friends made it all a fantastic trip. Looking forward to next year.
I came home from retreat sick, so tomorrow I'll try to take some photos of projects that I worked on, and door prizes and goody bag treats.
Until then, let someone know you care! Sunny
