The next day we walked down to the beach near our hotel and got some nice sunny pictures before we left.
From there, we drove south to The Everglades, where we enjoyed a tram tour. We saw alligators, herons, egrets, wood storks, Ibis, a Roseate spoonbill, Anhingas, more alligators, and a crocodile. What an interesting place!
After our tour, we headed further south to the Keys. We witnessed the most beautiful sunset that I think I’ve ever seen.
So much nicer to look at than snow!
Hope you’re all stitching, because I’m not! Sunny
You forgot to come and get me before going to Fl--shame on you!!!!!:-)
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos--did you take lots more besides what you showed here?????
I broke down and did some blue blocks--
It has been really really cold here and they say it will get even colder the rest of the week--Sues quilt shop is having a big sale this Sat and Sun--but the temps are going to be way way toooo cold to walk over town--so guess I will be saving some money!!!
Smiles, diandmissgracie

ReplyDeleteOh yes! Stunning sunset - I love a glorious sunset like that. What a lovely way to get away from snow. We too are heading south this weekend - to what we hope will be sunny Spain - and away from the grey and damp of a Dordogne winter. Have fun on the rest of your trip. xx
