First Finish of 2012!

I just put the final stitches in my 12 DOC Mystery Quilt from Temecula Quilts.   They published one block each day for the 12 days of Christmas.  The block for the first day was only one piece, and the block for the twelfth day had 12 pieces.  It was fun and simple, and it's very exciting to have a finish this early in the year.  The fabrics are all from my scrap basket.

I'm also working diligently on my 'Christmas Through The Year' gift, I've crocheted my monthly rectangles, and I've got an ornament stitched.  I have to take my car to the dealer tomorrow for some recall work, so I should have plenty of time to do more stitching.

  10. What a clever little quilt with number of pieces being the same as the 12 days of Christmas. It turned out very nice with the fabrics you used. What a way to start the new year with a finish - that so good. I'm almost jealous. LOL! Is your word up this year contentment? Did a miss a post? I meant to comment on your FW blocks but got busy at work. I love the fabrics colors for your quilt. It's really going to be grand.
