Mail Call

DH didn't stop at the mailbox last night because it was raining so hard when he came home.  Lucky for me, the mail carrier had left a nice little box at the door.  Inside was this beautiful squishy that I won from Barbara at To Stitch or Not to Stitch.  I borrowed her picture because she's far more artistic with her photos than I am.

If you like cross stitch, or if you just like looking at pretty things, you should pop over to her blog to look around.

I'm at home today, waiting for the arrival of a plumber.  We've tried for the last two nights to get our kitchen sink drain unclogged, and it was time to call in the pros.  You know how they give you a time range - late morning  or early afternoon??  It's usually pretty annoying, but I decided to look at the bright side and use it as an excuse to spend the day catching up on some sewing projects.  Yeah for plumbers!!  I just washed up a few dishes in the bathroom sink to get them out of the way.  If you need me for anything, I'll be in the sewing room!

Stitching to my heart's content......Sunny

  1. Adorable x-stitch win. :-)

Enjoy time in your sewing room. Have fun!

  2. Good luck with the plumber. The night before heading to visit DH I discovered a flood in the storage room of the basement. Got a temporary fix on the airconditioner the next day but will have a full replacement when I get home next week. Man I do get sick of this stuff, but playing with fabric sure helps. :-)
